Review: Paqui Tortilla Chips Grilled Habanero

Taste: These tortilla chips had an appearance similar to Doritos, with a similar color and surface texture, but they were quarter-circle shaped and each chip was quite a bit bigger than your typical Doritos. There did seem to be a higher concentration of bubbles in the dough than Doritos. We crunched in to find a nice crisp texture, very much like Doritos, and initially a zesty and cheesy flavor, but not much in the way of habanero heat. With a slight delay, the habanero heat arrived and gradually grew into a fairly serious burn. These weren't the hottest chips ever, but they were pretty hot. Definitely recommend a beverage or something cool to fight back the heat.

Aroma: Smells a lot like Doritos on first whiff, with also some sweet corn too on the second whiff.
